The NuBlu Band is an energetic 6-9 piece
dance/funk/pop & R&B group that has performed for many private,
corporate, and festive events. Affordably priced and easy to accommodate, the
NuBlu Band prides itself on delivering tailor-made shows to fit its prospective
audience, bringing its highest level of showmanship, and professionalism for
guaranteed customer satisfaction at each event.
The band is made up of a group of quality vocalists and musicians from around
the Chicago area that have a passion for delivering a precise, funky, and sonic
sound. NuBlu has been together for 7 years, but several members have known and
played with each other on and off for many year's. Our music is produced with
sound vocals and experienced musicianship to insure a high-quality, professional
sound. This creates a party atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all. The band
performs a variety of non-stop, heart-pumping music through a professional
Yamaha 32-channel mixer, monitors, a 3200-watt sound system and a synchronized
lighting display. It's not unusual to hear the band jump from the 60's, to the
70's to the 80's to Blues or to today's current sounds. And lets not forget
about Motown! The band also encourages audience participation.
